Zinc steel balcony railings refer to balcony railings made of zinc alloy materials. Because of its high strength, high hardness, exquisite appearance, bright color and other advantages, it has become the mainstream product used in residential areas. Traditional balcony railings use iron bars and aluminum alloy materials, which require the use of welding and other process technologies, and are soft, easy to rust, and have a single color.
The original iron balcony railings have a very limited service life. Generally, good iron railings can only be used for about 2 years. Waiting until the service life is over to renovate them is not only time-consuming but also has safety hazards. After the appearance of zinc steel railings, the service life has been greatly improved in the later processing. Generally speaking, it can be used for at least 20 years. To increase the service life of zinc steel railings, we first have a brief understanding of it from the product characteristics of the railings. Then, from the maintenance aspect, it is necessary to maintain it.
Maintenance:
1. Pay attention to moisture-proof: If it is just general outdoor air humidity, you don't have to pay attention to it at all. In case of foggy weather, use dry cotton cloth to wipe the water droplets on the balcony railing; if it rains, wipe the water droplets in time after the rain stops. Try to maintain and prolong the life of the balcony railing.
2. Stay away from acids and alkalis. Acids and alkalis with corrosive effects are the number one killer of balcony railings. If the balcony railings are accidentally stained with acids and alkalis, they should be immediately rinsed with clean water and then wiped dry with dry cotton cloth.
Of course, these are limited to the maintenance of indoor balconies. What about outdoor ones? Some of them cannot be maintained, and some maintenance will also waste resources. Therefore, after the expected life, for safety reasons, it is better to update them in time.
